How did you determine the name of your business? Like Disneyland's "Fantasia," the founders wanted the name to invoke a feeling of fantasy. We also have a giant mountain of water in our waterfall, so the two words were combined and Mountasia was born.

What inspired you to go into this business? My job is so much fun that it doesn't really feel like work. When you get to bring smiles to people's faces, it is hard not to love it.

What's the coolest service that you offer? Mountasia's fundraising events for schools, churches, youth groups and other non-profits are unbelievable! We offer parties to these groups and give back 50 percent of the ticket price to the organization. Since opening in 1995 we have raised in excess of $100,000 for non-profits!

What is the most amazing product that you offer? The Farrell's Volcano Sundae is it! Let me describe it: A lava flow of streaming hot fudge covers 30 scoops of vanilla ice cream delivered by our own island beauties under a pyrotechnic display not seen since the Fourth of July. It's served with whipped cream, nuts and cherries and delivered to your table on fire!

What does the future hold for your business? More fun, excitement and great service! In 2007, the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley voted Mountasia the Best Place for Kids to Play and the Best Place to Throw a Party, and Farrell's the Most Kid-Friendly Restaurant. We want to insure we get those votes year after year! We do things like add new video games, offer hot items at redemption, offer great packages and specials like unlimited video games and laser tag days and publish coupons to make sure our guests keep coming back and feel rewarded by playing here!

What's one thing that someone out of the loop would never guess? Mountasia is the most filmed and photographed family entertainment center in the country. Mountasia has been seen in feature films, music videos, television shows, commercials, training videos, magazine spreads and more!
