•  Sunset in the Vineyard - Assistance League's 8th Annual Sunset in the Vineyard fundraiser will be held at the picturesque Compa Vineyard and homes of Jeannie, Chris and Tim Carpenter. Enjoy locally crafted wine and beer, culinary delights and music. Proceeds benefit Assistance League Programs serving Santa Clarita.

•  Audi Valencia Food Drive to Fight SCV Hunger - Beginning November 1, Audi Valencia staff will collect boxed and canned goods for donation to the SCV Food Pantry. Donations of peanut butter, 100-percent juice boxes, low-sodium vegetables, canned tuna/chicken/salmon, nuts, shelf-stable milks, no-sugar-added fruit cups, whole-grain pasta, brown rice, oatmeal, canola/olive oil, canned beans, low-sugar breakfast cereals, healthy granola bars and popcorn are especially appreciated.

Thursday, November 5

•  The Masters College Chamber Orchestra Concert - The Master's College presents the bi-annual concert of the Chamber Orchestra. Conducted by Professor Sarah Wallin-Huff, this student-staffed instrumental group will play a variety of music including classical standards as well as contemporary and newly-composed pieces. Along with the Chamber Orchestra, the TMC String Quartet and Trio will also be featured. This concert will be held in the Recital Hall with tickets available at the door.

•  Westfield Valencia Ice Rink - Westfield Valencia Town Center is bringing back the time-honored winter tradition of ice skating with their outdoor ice skating rink located on Town Center Drive by Pottery Barn. Sponsored by the Valencia Auto Center, this rink is available to all skaters of all experience levels now through January 18. Prices are family friendly, too, at $12 for kids (Under 3 are free!) and $15 for adults. That'll buy you two hours of skating fun, plus your skate rental!

Grace Baptist Church's MOPS group supports Mothers of Preschoolers by providing a place for fellowship, community, resources, friendship and support for mothers so they know they are not alone.

•  The Masters College Wind Ensemble Concert - The Master's College presents the bi-annual Wind Ensemble Concert. Conducted by Dr. Stephen Opfer, the director of instrumental music and music education at TMC, this instrumental group comprised of students and some community members plays a variety of music including wind band classics, 20th century compositions and theater and film music. Seats are always packed for these popular winds concerts, which are held in the Recital Hall with tickets available at the door.

•  Light the Night Walk - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk will be held at Bridgeport Park in Valencia. Join your neighbors in the fight against blood cancers! Registration begins at 3pm and the walk begins at 5pm.

•  CLOVERTON in Concert - Northpark Community Church hosts "CLOVERTON," a rich pop-styled Christian band reminiscent of Third Day and Cold Play, with music that appeals to all ages. Thier first radio single "Take Me into the Beautiful" was recently in the Christian Billboard top 25.
