•  Canyon Theatre Guild presents A Christmas Carol - Christmas joy fills the hearts of everyone in 19th century London, all except for one man: Ebenezer Scrooge. In his opinion, Christmas is all humbug! Scrooge values his money and nothing more. His sheer greed and wickedness leads to a visit by his late business partner, who warns Scrooge that he'll be visited by three spirits. Perhaps these three spirits will be able to twist Scrooge in the right direction, before it's too late!

•  Henry Mayo Home Tour - Four spectacular Santa Clarita Valley homes will be decked out in true holiday splendor during Henry Mayo's 36th annual Home Tour on Saturday, December 3 from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The theme this year is "Home for the Holidays."
In addition to the Home Tour, a Special Gala on Friday, December 2 will offer a preview glimpse of the homes from 6pm to 9pm with a festive buffet dinner at the Tournament Players Club from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Guests can experience a Winter Wonderland of snow on the Gala evening with a possible sighting of Santa while enjoying a glass of champagne at one of the homes.
On the day of the Home Tour, a Holiday Boutique featuring a wide selection of creative and unique holiday items for sale will be open to the public from 9am to 5pm at the Henry Mayo Center on the hospital's campus. Bring your friends and family and shop from a selection of beautiful holiday items presented by more than 30 vendors.

•  Holiday Snowflake Festival - River Oaks Shopping Center Hosts Holiday Snowflake Festival to Benefit Carousel Ranch
On Sunday, December 4 from 1pm to 4pm, head over to River Oaks Shopping Center in Valencia (The home of Cobblestone Cottage, Target and other faves!) to take part in an entirely-free event that benefits Carousel Ranch's equestrian therapy program. Treat the kids to an afternoon of sledding and playing in fresh snow, cookie decorating, letter writing to Santa and more. A balloon artist, festive strolling characters, a professional photographer gifting families with free pictures with Santa (One per family.), and even fresh-made doughnut makers will be there to add to the festive day!

•  CalArts Holiday Pop-Up Market - California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) invites the community to its first holiday pop-up market. Hand-crafted gifts, created by CalArts students, faculty and staff, range from original ceramics and jewelry to posters, t-shirts and custom-designed sneakers. Alumnus animator Marc Ratner will be on site to draw one-of-a-kind caricature portraits. Expect holiday tunes from students of The Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts, refreshments and a cash bar. Featured drink: CalArts own 24700 IPA, an artisan brew created by SoLArc Brewing and named for CalArts' McBean Parkway address. •  Dance Studio 84 presents The Nutcracker Ballet - Dance Studio 84 presents The Nutcracker Ballet, with a matinee and evening performance each day.

Approximately 200 ballet students age 8-18 perform the holiday classic in its entirety and each year is a unique version with different costuming and choreography.
