From author Alfred Uhry - with special arrangement with Broadway Licensing - Pulitzer Prize-winning "Driving Miss Daisy" is the thought-provoking story that earned the film four Academy Awards.
Presented by the Canyon Theatre Guild from Saturday, May 30 to Sunday, June 28, "Driving Miss Daisy" introduces audiences to the sharp-tongued rich widow Daisy Werthan and her chauffeur, Hoke Colburn.
Set in 1948 in the Deep South, the performance tells the story of how two people from different backgrounds grow closer together, and more dependent on each other, over 25 years. Log on for tickets and more information.

ESCAPE Theatre Presents "Matilda"
ESCAPE Theatre invites you to attend "Matilda the Musical" at The Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center June 19 through June 22. All shows are at 2pm and 7pm.
The musical, based on Roald Dahl's novel, features Matilda - a brilliant girl who uses her imagination and powers to overcome her neglectful parents and a tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, while helping her beloved teacher Miss Honey.
"Matilda" highlights over 300 talented youth and teens from the SCV as well as a live orchestra, rousing musical numbers with high-energy choreography and memorable songs like "Naughty," "Revolting Children" and "When I Grow Up."
Stay tuned - because ESCAPE's next season includes "Shrek" and "Peter Pan." Shrek will perform in January 2027 and "Peter Pan" will be flying into the theatre next June.
