A Night to Remember
There's so much to see and do at Heart of the West. The "cowboy casual" event raises much-needed funds for Carousel Ranch's equestrian therapy program, which directly benefits children with mental and/or physical disabilities like autism, stroke and cerebral palsy. It's a night of jubilant celebration, filled with smiling children and proud family members. It's a chance for you to place a bet, either in an auction or at a casino table - but the best part is that no matter what size gamble you take, it's the kids who win big.

Children's Demonstration on Horseback
The children of Carousel Ranch showing off new-found skills on the back of their favorite horse always draws big cheers (and a few tears).

Live & Silent Auction
Bid on a stay in an ocean-front estate in Cebu, estate jewelry, a cuddly puppy and hundreds of other great sports, entertainment and family-friendly items.

Watering Hole

Dancing Under the Stars
SOS Entertainment will keep the party going well into the night. Kid-operated Ol' Fashioned Rootbeer Float Stand Meet the stars of the evening - the children of Carousel Ranch - as they serve up sweet treats with an even sweeter smile.

Old Town Casino

Carousel Ranch is a Place of Miracles Big & Small...
Emma, a rider at Carousel Ranch, has autism. No amount of coaxing would convince Emma to let her Mother brush her hair. This small thing often became a big deal. Intense tantrums and embarrassment-filled outings were the norm - until Emma's teacher at Carousel Ranch, Becky Graham, encouraged Emma to groom her horse while riding. Each week they would take a brush and stroke her horse's mane and tail. Soon Becky started using the horse brushes on Emma and then gradually introduced Emma's brush from home. Now Emma is one of Carousel Ranch's best groomers - and her hair shines beautifully as she cares for her favorite horse.
