Hospital Hosts Golf Tournament to Benefit ER
Doctors Swing into Action
May, 2005 - Issue #7
Created in 1975, Santa Clarita's only emergency room was designed to treat 17,000 patients annually. Last year, more than 38,000 patients were treated, and by 2010, the hospital anticipates that annual visits will grow to 55,000.

In response to the financial burden that comes with building a new ER to meet the SCV's growing needs, the 32nd Annual Frontier Toyota/Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital "Drive Safe" Golf Classic tournament, awards dinner and auction will be held on May 21 at the Valencia Country Club.

Last year's event attracted nearly 400 people and raised more than $220,000 in net profits. This year's goal is a net of $238,000.

If you're interested in sponsorship opportunities or tickets for the dinner and auction program, contact the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation at 253-8082 or go to www.henrymayo.com.
