A Little of This, a Little of That
November, 2012 - Issue #97
The Gervasi's Stevenson Ranch home is a little Tuscan, a little Country French and a lot "borrowed." If, as some say, plagiarism is the highest form of flattery, then Lesley Gervasi has a long list of people and places she's flattered.

"Everything we have is because we see it and love it, then bring it into our own home and make it work," says the frequent traveler, who notes well-appointed hotels as one of her most common places to find decor inspiration. She jokes, "We pinch and steal what we like!"

The humble homeowner, all too eager to give others credit for the fine flow of her home, does have one philosophy she claims for herself. "Our theme through it all is that we want to balance 'nice' with 'comfortable.' We have been able to create a home where it's not obvious that two kids live here. At the same time, our home is somewhere that, at the end of the day, everyone can snuggle up and relax," says Gervasi.
