•  Gibbons Conservation Fair - Visit the Gibbons Conservation Fair at College of the Canyons, held in Hasley Hall Atrium & Theater. Guests will enjoy free games, educational presenters and a free screening of "Monkey Kingdom." Brunch will be available for purchase.

•  Breakfast with the Gibbons - Held at the Gibbon Conservation Center in Santa Clarita, it's Breakfast with a twist! Guests will enjoy a free light breakfast, wonderful photo opportunities and probably a few laughs! About mid-day, our Director, Gabi Skollar, will take us on a unique tour around the center to work off those extra calories and watch gibbon antics. At some point, the gibbons will surely sing for your enjoyment. Feel free to watch them or even sing along. Children can get their faces painted, play and learn at the Conservation Station, or participate in other activities. The Silent Auction offers artwork, tickets to shows, gift baskets and other awesome items - with all purchases benefiting the gibbons. They will also be unveiling the new memorial brick patio.

•  Tea & Toeshoes - Santa Clarita Ballet presents "Tea & Toeshoes" , where ladies of all ages should wear their favorite spring dresses and hats for this traditional tea featuring dainty finger sandwiches, tea with clotted cream and decadent scones served by fully-costumed ballerinas. Following the tea, the Best Hat Contest winner will be announced and the littlest ladies will enjoy a ballet lesson and whimsical party favors. The highlight of this afternoon of relaxation and decadence includes a sneak peek of June's performance of "Peter Pan" featuring the most advanced Company ballerinas. Tea & Toeshoes tickets are now on sale at Santa Clarita Ballet for seatings at 11am and 2pm. Santa Clarita Ballet Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit; all proceeds will benefit the company and are tax deductible under IRS tax code.

•  2020 Mom Farm to Table Fundraiser - 2020 Mom Farm to Table Fundraiser Featuring Apricot Lane Farms will Highlight most Common & Underdiagnosed Obstetrical Complication - Postpartum depression. It's the most under-diagnosed, obstetrical complication in the country. Untreated disorders impact family stability and the development of infants and children. To put a spotlight on its programs promoting the critical need for the proper screening, diagnosis and treatment of maternal mental health disorders like postpartum depression, 2020 Mom will hold its second-annual Farm to Table charity event the evening of May 21 at the Valencia Country Club.
This year the event will include a boutique auction, as well as farm-fresh organic Mexican cuisine. Guests will be greeted with margaritas and Latin music and enjoy their meal on corn-and-lime-decorated sprawling picnic tables placed under globe lights and draped Mexican party flags.
