•  Bridge To Home Soup for the Soul - Bridge to Home, the primary homeless services provider in the Santa Clarita Valley, invites the community to their premier fundraiser Soup for the Soul - All the Stars are Closer. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 13 and will be bigger and better than ever before, as it will take place six stories up in the starry sky on the rooftop in Old Town Newhall. Restaurants that will take part in this delicious event include local favorites like Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co., Salt Creek Grille and Nothing Bundt Cakes, to name a few. Bridge to Home provides support services - including an emergency winter shelter, case management, housing navigation and medical clinics - that help individuals and families in the Santa Clarita Valley transition out of homelessness.

•  Rubber Ducky Festival - The 15th Annual Rubber Ducky Festival, their annual signature fundraiser, will be held at Bridgeport Park. In addition to the rubber duck races, the event includes a food court area, with popular gourmet food trucks, vendors and non-profit community partners, a stage and program filled with local talent and performers, and a "Kid Zone" area, complete with a rock climbing wall, face-painting, air bouncer, games, activities, and more! •  Be Amazed by the Magic of LARC - "Be Amazed by the Magic of LARC" during their fundraiser packed with live magic, entertainment, great food, fun, games and dancing. Headlining the October 14 fundraiser will be Michael Gutenplan, a world-renowned master magician, mentalist and psychic entertainer. Roving magicians will entertain guests with close-up tableside tricks while DJ Bino Bates spins tunes. Proceeds from the event benefit the nonprofit organization's residential and day programs and services. LARC Ranch, in picturesque Bouquet Canyon just past Vasquez Canyon Road, provides a safe home environment for more than 100 developmentally-disabled adults.

•  Santa Clarita OktoberFest - Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year on Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20, the Santa Clarita Oktoberfest is a SoCal twist on the original Oktoberfest held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. During the two-day tribute, a variety of German and German-style beers will be poured in and around the Crystal Palace Flemish Spiegeltent, adding to the authentic ambiance. German foods, music, and games - all with a California flavor - will complete your Munich-in-the-Santa-Clarita-Valley experience.

•  Wildcat Classic - West Ranch High School is proud to present the 10th annual Wildcat Classic, a daylong display of musical artistry. More than 20 high school bands from the Santa Clarita Valley and around the region will gather for the Southern California School Band and Orchestra (SCSBOA) Marching Band Competition.

Each high school band will compete by division followed by an astounding showcase performance of the three-time state champion West Ranch Band and Colorguard. The day-long event culminates in an awards ceremony with awards presented in each division as decided by a panel of SCSBOA judges. The performance schedule will be announced prior to the event. Held at Valencia High School's football stadium, located at 27801 Dickason Dr. in Valencia. Tickets are $10; parking is free and there will be Food, Gift & Apparel Vendors as well.
