•  SCV Water Classes 2022 - SCV Water hosts one virtual class per month on a Saturday starting at 9am. Classes focus on the topic for about an hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. All presentations are recorded and available for viewing on their website one week after the live class. Participants will also be able to download the presentation.

•  The Lilies of the Field - "The Lilies of the Field" is a warm, funny story about a friendship that crosses social barriers. This production is dedicated to the Oscar-winning actor Sydney Poitier,who starred in the movie by the same name. Director Felicia Tamika Sheppard said, "We feel honored to present this classic play featuring a stellar cast portraying two unique cultures brought together on common ground through faith."

•  Little Women: the Broadway Musical - "Little Women: the Broadway Musical" is a wonderful, uplifting story based on the classic by Louisa May Alcott. This adaptation is beautiful, lighthearted and moving in a way like no other. Co-Director Jennifer Teague said, "It is amazing how relevant this show is to the issues of today - and the music is amazing."

•  Daddy Long Legs - The Master's University Theatre Arts presents "Daddy Long Legs" Based on the treasured 1912 novel by Jean Webster, experience this rags-to-riches tale about a witty and winsome young woman and her mysterious benefactor. Experience a limited-capacity live show March 25 through April 2 at TMU's Newhall campus or opt for on-demand streaming available April 8 through April 16.

•  Celebrate Polynesia - Travel to the Polynesian Islands and enjoy a live performance from a captivating fire and knife dancer. The night does not end there. Kalakeke Pacific Island Dance Company will share the culture and dance of the Pacific Islands. Plus, attendees will have the chance to try delectable Hawaiian dishes from Aloha Friday's Hawaiian Food Truck. The family-friendly event will also offer lei making, tiki mask decorating, tug of war and other exhilarating activities. Enjoy this cultural adventure celebration the first Friday of the month with your friends and family at the Canyon Country Community Center.

•  Gilchrist Spring Farm Camp - Your farm camper will learn how to groom, tack up, and ride horses, try archery (and mounted archery!) milk goats, gather eggs, pet pigs and bunnies, feed the ducks and tortoise, enjoy the horses and take the mini mule for a walk! There is also Country Arts & crafts, play farm games and more!
Spring Farm Camp is designed for ages 5 to 11, with the Counselors in Training programming is a best fit for kids 12 to 16. The CIT program includes a leadership component, a more-advanced riding program and specialized activities like forging, leather work and mounted archery appropriate for teens.

•  The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire - Held in April and May in Irwindale since 1962, the "Ren Faire" attracts a quarter-million people annually who are drawn to the reenactment a 1580s English market faire. Wander through Port Deptford, a waterfront town from Elizabethan-era England, in costume, enjoying jousting tournaments and roasted meat. Held Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 7pm, just minutes from Pasadena at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area at 15501 E. Arrow Highway in Irwindale.

•  Dragon Boat Eggstravaganza - Enjoy a dragon boat ride and an egg hunt, followed up by a free hotdog lunch. Castaic Lake Dragon Boat racing is growing in popularity in the US and is a true team sport for all ages. There will be floating balloons that the kids paddle together to reach. Each balloon retrieved will be rewarded with a small treat. Floatation devices and paddlers provided for all, lifeguards will be on duty. •  Party on the Pointe - The city is inviting the community to come together to Party on the Pointe! The festivities will take over the George A. Caravalho Santa Clarita Sports Complex on Center Pointe Parkway - that's where the
Party on the Pointe name comes from - on Saturday, April 23. This all-day party will have guests springing back from the COVID slump and moving non-stop with fun, wacky and downright thrilling activities. You can see how long you can ride the Mechanical Shark, test your bravery with Drop Zone and Zip Line, get rolling at the Indoor Roller Rink, test your aim at the Nerf Wars and then take in the view from the ferris wheel - and much more. There will also be live musical performances, food trucks and demonstrations at the Skate Park and Trek Bike Park of Santa Clarita. Best of all, the event is free.

•  Walk 4 MHF - The Michael Hoefflin Foundation will host its Walk 4 MHF on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium. To further the effort of helping families battling pediatric cancer. Register or make a donation at www.MHF.org. All funds raised from the Walk will directly to support the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and its services including providing gas and grocery gift cards, counseling sessions, family fun events, advocacy and support during treatment and at times of bereavement.

•  Wheelchair Sports Festival - The 9th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival, a two-day free sporting event open to the public that features fifteen adaptive recreational activities, including wheelchair hockey, basketball, rugby (a.k.a. murderball), racquetball, baseball, hand cycling, SCUBA, tennis, track & field, wheelchair skating (WCMX), and a wheelchair obstacle course. •  11th Annual KHTS Santa Clarita Home & Garden Show, Emergency Expo & Arts & Craft Fair - The 11th Annual KHTS Home & Garden Show is back after a two-year hiatus. The show will again be located at Central Park on Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday, May 1 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free. Spectators can visit over 450 booths featuring Santa Clarita vendors. Don't miss the new The Butterfly Encounter. Get up close to hundreds of butterflies as they swarm around, feasting on nectar from a stick in your hand. Saturday will feature the Emergency Expo. On Sunday, dozens of vintage sports cars will be on display courtesy of the Santa Clarita Corvette Club. Everyone's favorite food trucks will be there, too.
