•  SCV Water Classes 2022 - SCV Water hosts one virtual class per month on a Saturday starting at 9am. Classes focus on the topic for about an hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. All presentations are recorded and available for viewing on their website one week after the live class. Participants will also be able to download the presentation.

•  Touch a Truck - SCV Education Foundation's first-annual Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event where kids of all ages can see and experience a wide variety of large, unique trucks and vehicles up close. Entertainment, kid-friendly activities, vendor booths and food trucks will make for a fun-filled day. From 9am to 10am there will be a sensory-sensitive quiet hour without any loud noises like horns and sirens. Held at Central Park.

•  Jingle Fest 22 Holiday Boutique - Strawberry & Fig's Jingle Fest '22 is more than just a shopping experience - it's a seasonal wonderland filled with the sounds, flavors and designs that make this time of year magical and memorable. On Sunday, November 13, over 200 artisans, crafters and vendors selling exclusive collections of jewelry, handbags, clothing, holiday decor and necessities and much more will help you complete your holiday shopping. But the fun doesn't stop there. Jingle Fest's entertainment lineup will wow you - so bring a chair and set your family up by the stage for a front-row seat to dance performances, choirs and even santa! At 12pm, Santa will arrive on his Turbo Sleigh for photos until 3pm. Visits are just $7 per child. SCV's own country band Rebel Heart will also play from 12:30 to 4pm - so wear your best boots, because there will be free line-dance lessons. Strawberry & Fig's beloved "Lil' Country Western Store" will be located near the stage to help you best accessorize for the event! And don't forget to arrive hungry - the parking lot will be filled with our community's favorite food trucks.

•  Soroptomist 11th Annual Fashion Show & Boutique - Tickets include a luncheon with a fashion show featuring men and women of the community and young women from Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Program. Guests are invited to bid on exquisite silent and live auction items and enjoy fabulous entertainment. Proceeds benefit programs that continue the Soroptimist mission of helping women and girls globally and in our community. The Boutique is open to the public with no ticket required.

•  Festival of Trees 2022 - Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club presents "Festival of Trees" Magic of the Lights Gala with a live auction of large trees, a vast array of silent auction decorated trees beautifully themed and sometimes with notes of whimsy and a village of gingerbread houses built with love for bidding.

•  19th Annual Jacob Anthony Zamora Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot - The Jacob Zamora Memorial Foundation hosts the 19th annual Jacob Anthony Zamora Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot and Raffle at the Oak Tree Gun Club. Registration begins at 8am and is open to all interested participants. There will be a prize for the top shooter. Registrants will also receive a T-shirt and lunch. Non-participants are also welcome to come and enjoy the festivities. There will be food and T-shirts for purchase, a raffle with thousands of dollars in prizes, and live music provided by Miles 2 Go.

•  Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste Drive-Thru - Electronic Waste Drive-Thru Collection Event will be held at College of the Canyons South Parking Lot (26455 Rockwell Canyon Road) Wear a face covering Stay in your vehicle with windows closed, if possible. You are asked to carefully secure items in your trunk/pick-up bed in a sturdy box, preferably original containers with no other items. No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials controlled substances, trash, tires, or large appliances (like refrigerators, stoves and washing machines) or business waste can be taken.
Sharps disposal will require exiting your vehicle in a designated location to deposit them in a bin.
Limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.

•  Light Up Main Street - The City of Santa Clarita invites you to ring in the season while enjoying real snow, crafts, festive performances, shopping, snacking and pictures with Santa. This festive event centers around the lighting of the 25-foot-tall Christmas tree and thousands of lights down Main Street in Old Town Newhall. The official tree lighting begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. in front of the Old Town Newhall Library, so be sure to arrive early!

•  Relay For Life Holiday Boutique - Relay For Life hosts their festive annual Holiday Boutique where guests are invited to browse through aisles of holiday items like handmade greeting cards, gift bags and tags, tile coasters, wreaths and decorations. Other handcrafted items include jewelry, quilts, fleece blankets, woodwork, tea towels and aprons. Original gifts will be available including home decor, personal items like comfy flannel shirts, hair accessories, makeup and essential oils. And of course there
will be toys!
Money raised from vendors and patrons at this event will fund local cancer patient and family services as well as research, education and advocacy. Embrace the holiday spirit and share good will. •  White Christmas the Musical - Canyon Theatre Guild presents Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" The Musical, based on the hit film featuring two World War II vets who have become partners in a song-and-dance act after the war. Looking for love, they follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters to a gig at a Vermont lodge, which happens to be owned by their former army commander General Waverly.
