"I had a facelift four months ago - and I feel 10 years younger! I wanted a subtle change and I still 100-percent look like 'myself.' My kids were nervous but now they see that Dr. Heller did exactly what I wanted. I look in the mirror and think, 'I look good!' And my husband thinks I LOOK GREAT!"
Patient DM, 63 years old
"I would definitely do it again," says DM, a recent patient of Heller Plastic Surgery in Valencia. "I look like me, only younger! If you compared the 'me' of today with a photo from a decade ago, we'd look the same. Dr. Heller is really a blessing."
What has this 63 year old woman waxing poetic? "I performed a facelift and fat grafting for DM using micro-surgical techniques," says Dr. Justin Heller, an Ivy league trained board-certified plastic surgeon.

"I address the layer of tissue beneath the skin, engaging the micro-muscles and fat in a way that brings it back to its younger state. When you operate at the level of the membrane where fat is supported, and you bring that youthful-looking fat up and away from where it descended with time, the result is very natural looking and flattering."

It also makes recovery time go quicker. "I didn't need to take any pain pills once I got home," shares DM. "My healing went well and as predicted, even though I have very sensitive skin."
The surgeon utilizes fat grafts, taken from a minimally-invasive liposuction procedure, to fill in any areas that are left hollow - and that helps the healing process, too. "There's often a loss of volume at the temples, the tear-trough area, the cheek folds, and over the cheek bones - this is where using your own tissue really makes a big difference. You're not dependent on synthetic fillers and the results are permanent. Plus, thanks to the healing and growth-promoting properties of the newly-introduced fat cells, your surface-layer skin will improve, too. It promotes healing. Patients report a reduction in pore size and smoother texture as well," says Dr. Heller.

"The entire process was wonderful. These are truly-great people," says DM. "From the first consultation, Dr. Heller set me at ease. He didn't push; we discussed what I wanted and he didn't try to sell additional work like other doctors. He was very patient with all my questions and he came to the hospital to check on me the next day. I had his cell phone number so I could call him at any time. He was 'there' for me the whole time - the entire staff was!

I would recommend Heller Plastic Surgery to absolutely everyone. He has your best interest at heart," says the grateful patient.
