Weddings, birthdays, graduations, baby showers, corporate events - they're all a fun excuse to gather and celebrate. What's less fun for most? Planning it. These three party-pro spots are the exception to that rule, offering packages and prep that make you a guest at your own bash.

The Odyssey Restaurant & Event Center
Why it's easy: You'll have expert party planners who have years of experience crafting lifelong memories on your prep team and customized options abound with seven charming banquet rooms and two wedding ceremony areas that are full of character, showcasing beloved views of the San Fernando Valley.

Why it's special: Impress your guests with elevated ceilings, stunning statement chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling views and a balance of contemporary and classic ambiance to complement all types of special celebrations.

The Local Pub & Grill
Why it's easy: This mom and pop local stop is heavy handed when it comes to quality service - co-owners Mendy, Steve and their team go all out to coordinate the perfect par-tay.

Why it's special: Your patio event is exclusive - the private space is yours to enjoy as is or decorate to your heart's content, or host inside and make new friends. (Buyouts are available, too.). Order off the catering menu that boasts a variety of delicious party-style platters and treat the guest of honor to a complimentary birthday treat: the Lo-zookie cookie or their specialty: Churro Madness.

JJ's Bar & Grill
Why it's easy: JJ's large banquet room fits the whole crew, team or family - even those far-flung cousins. There's no worrying about head count; the menu is expansive and affordable; and the staff knows how to manage a crowd.

Why it's special: During high-traffic times, the entire place is party central; Saturday Night LIVE brings DJs and great music and Sundays are filled with games on the big screen, Dodger Dogs on the grill and your host, Jeff, keeping the vibe cool. If you're worried about the energy of your event, borrow some of JJ's.
