Why the name change from Madalian to Ma Maison? Having established our business as Madalian, an evolution has occurred in response to our customers' wants, needs and styles - leading us forward into our store makeover and a new store name: Ma Maison. Ma Maison, meaning "my home" in French, is more indicative of what our store carries and the style it embodies.

What inspired you to go into this business? Our inspiration came years ago when we both felt the need for a specialized boutique in Santa Clarita Valley - one that provides the highest standards of unusual merchandise, excellent customer service, and owners who are committed to continually searching for the most-up to-date and stylish products for your home, you and your friends.

What's the coolest service you provide? The "finishing touches!" One-on-one customer follow up, letting our clients know when new items of interest arrive, prices to fit everyone's budget, and unique custom gift wrap on all purchases.

What are the most amazing products you offer? Together, we design and manufacture all the textile merchandise in the boutique, including funky aprons, hilarious gloves, adorable baby outfits, designer baby blankets and home decor throws, pillows and more. We strive to secure product lines that set the boutique apart.

What does the future hold? Ma Maison is committed to making gift giving a pleasant and easy experience by having an interactive, "buy now" website. All the latest items offered in the store being available, sometimes even first, online. Not only will you be able to buy online anywhere and have it shipped in the US, but you can also select to have the items packed and ready for pick up at the store or have it delivered for free in the SCV. The Ma Maison makeover will be happening on June 22 and 23.

What would we never guess? When preparing for the store opening, we did the majority of the initial store build out ourselves, using drills, terrazzo sanders, concrete floor stain, paint and electrical... we fear nothing when it comes to home decor. To this day we are still the resident handy women!
