SCVBank Reports Profitable Second Quarter
As bank failures continue to dominate headlines, SCVBank has experienced strong growth and solid performance. The community bank reported a profitable second quarter in 2009, due, in part, to solid growth in its loan portfolio. Loans grew from $101.9 million at year-end to $110.5 million, or 8.5 percent at June 30, 2009. The Bank's total assets as of June 30, 2009 were $140.2 million, a 15.9 percent increase over year-end 2008. SCVBank continues to maintain a strong capital position with a Tier 1 Leverage ratio of 10.3 percent at quarter end, well above the regulatory guideline of 5 percent for well-capitalized institutions; 255-9250 www.scvbank.com

This was the first phase of a two-part phased relocation of Advanced Bionics' entire operation. The actual completion date was five days ahead of the very aggressive contract completion date. Construction crews worked a rigid schedule seven days per week, 12 hours per day for a total of over 16,000 man hours invested in the project. The quality of the design required specialized contractors to complete certain scopes of work. The finished product reflects high-quality design and construction.
