•  Donate Soup to Help Local Seniors - Did you know that some seniors in our own community have difficulty obtaining food? Soup can be a warm and nutritious meal that is easy for them to prepare. Visiting Angels is collecting donations of soup that will be donated to seniors who access services of the Santa Clarity Valley Senior Center. Soup donations can be dropped off at the Visiting Angels office Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm at their offices at 24001 Newhall Ranch Road. Donations will be accepted December 1 to January 15.

College planning expert Anne Cochran will provide this special presentation for 11th-grade learners and parents to help guide them through the very important junior year of high school, when many key actions need to be taken and deadlines need to be met in preparation for the transition from high school to college. The presentation begins at 7pm in the Etta James Room at SCVi.

•  SCVi High School Information Night - A SCVi college counselor will provide information about the excellent colleges that have accepted graduates from SCVi's first two graduating classes. Teutonic villain Otto Von Brunno and his evil mistress Lenya crash their plane in the English countryside and kidnap Professor Fenton, who has discovered a formula for making synthetic diamonds. Bullshot Crummond is called to the rescue by the professor's daughter Rosemary.
