•  Santa Clarita Cowboys Registration - Santa Clarita Cowboys youth ages 6 through 14 tackle football registration is now open. Games are held Every Saturday during April 2017 through end of June 2017. The annual Disneyland Raffle Fundraiser allows families to easily raise the remainder of the $300 total registration fees—which means that you can end up paying only $20 out of pocket for the entire season (go to www.SantaClaritaCowboys.ORG and click on the Documents button for more information on the Disneyland Fundraiser).

•  Alice in Wonderland - Experience the magic of summer by sliding down the rabbit hole with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy and Company as it stages its third tremendously-popular production of Alice in Wonderland on Saturday, June 10 at 2pm and 7:30pm at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. Under the direction of Pamela Sosa and set to the enduring music of Tchaikovsky, Strauss Jr. and Bowman, expect to see Lewis Carroll's classic tale masterfully retold through a kaleidoscope of colorful costumes, whimsical choreography and charming familiar characters. During this two-act performance, Alice and her mad companions will whisk audiences into a world where cards dance, caterpillars dispense wisdom and a tea party is held every day- if you're not late! Immediately following the conclusion of Alice in Wonderland, Santa Clarita Ballet Company's Artistic Director Carol Guidry will stage an original short program featuring graduating members of the upper Company. Everyone's favorite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film. Opening like a storybook, this musical adventure begins with Shrek narrating the story on his seventh birthday. As Shrek grows up, he is interrupted by more than 28 fairytale characters that show up and want to live in his swamp. Shrek decides to take a journey to see Lord Farquaad in order to get his swamp back. Follow the adventures of Shrek, his sidekick Donkey, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad and everyone's favorite fairytale creatures. This all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza features over 300 youth and teens from the SCV. •  2017 Valencia Jazz & Blues Concert Series - No more wondering what to do on Friday nights because beginning Friday, June 16, the sounds of live jazz and blues bands once again will fill Town Center Drive in Valencia. This will be the 18th year that the Valencia Jazz & Blues Concert Series will feature regional, national and international entertainers in a family-friendly, quaint street party setting offering activities for adults and children.
