•  Relay For Life 'Cirque du Cure' - Relay For Life of Santa Clarita celebrates its 25th year with "Cirque du Cure," a carnival/circus theme at this free family-friendly event featuring live entertainment, games, vendors, raffle drawings, food trucks, education and awareness - and loads of fun.


•  The High Desert Beer and Wine Festival - Bust out your big hair and gnarliest outfit for an awesome night of fun! The High Desert Beer and Wine Festival, featuring live music by the '80s cover band The Spazmatics, will introduce you to many of the region's best craft breweries and wineries. •  Taste of the Town - Don't miss Santa Clarita's most beloved outdoor food and wine fest! A vast array of local restaurants will feature sweets, savories and signature creations. Auctions and entertainment complement the day on the grounds of the beautiful Blomgren Ranch. Taste of the Town is the Child & Family Center's largest fundraiser. Their therapists and case managers continue to help over 900 children, teens and families in the community struggling with anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence situations. Support helps provide funding to continue to provide these crucial services.

•  Hit the Trail Community Bike Ride - City of Santa Clarita Hosts Hit the Trail Community Bike Ride
Join in on this non-competitive, self-guided bicycle ride that explores the many trails of Santa Clarita with four routes of varying distances.


•  Sweet Side of Education Chocolate Walk - SCV Education Foundation Hosts Sweet Side of Education Chocolate Walk, This family-friendly event for chocolate lovers of all ages includes a stroll down Main Street while you sample chocolates and delight in chocolate-inspired treats at participating businesses.


•  Travelin' Music - Put on your travelin' shoes as the Santa Clarita Concert Band takes you away from it all, without the hassles of an airport! The band will be playing a variety of music - everything from Toto's popular song "Africa" from 1982 to Johann Strauss Jr's "Tales from the Vienna Woods" from 1868. Expect music representing Chicago, Korea, Spain, and other international destinations.

•  19th Annual Bike to Work Challenge - City of Santa Clarita Hosts 19th Annual Bike to Work Challenge
This is an opportunity to see which businesses in Santa Clarita can get the most employees to bike to work! The large, medium and small businesses with the largest percentage of participation will win a prize for the team, and individual riders will be entered into a raffle for great prizes. Pit stops will be available around town on Thursday, May 18 only, from 7am to 9am, where participants enjoy refreshments, giveaway items and say hello to fellow riders and hosts.

•  A Comedy of Tenors - Canyon Theatre Guild presents Ken Ludwig's "A Comedy of Tenors" - One hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends and a soccer stadium filled with screaming fans. What could possibly go wrong? It's 1930s Paris and the stage is set for the concert of the century - as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep the amorous Italian superstar Tito Merelli and his hot-blooded wife Maria from causing runaway chaos. Filled with characters from Ken Ludwig's famous "Lend Me A Tenor," this new addition to the Ludwig canon is an uproarious ride full of mistaken identities, blissful romance and madcap delight.

•  Guacamole Queens - Canyon Theatre Guild presents "Guacamole Queens" - In this deliciously-funny Southern-fried comedy, the Verdeen cousins of Sweetgum, Texas - Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette - are up against the clock as they frantically attempt to produce the ultimate high school reunion before the old building is demolished.
