•  Encore Chorale of Santa Clarita - Spend the spring in song with the Encore Chorale of Santa Clarita! Beginning January 12, Encore ensembles are non-auditioned ensembles for adults 55+. No experience is required - just a love for singing and the desire to join a welcoming community of fellow music lovers. Sing choral classics from Va Pensiero to choral highlights from The Sound of Music in four-part harmony and experience joy in singing! The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

•  The Butterfly Encounter - Gilchrist Farms invites you to stroll through a tent of beautiful flowers hosting live butterflies flying all around you. Hold some nectar on a sponge to attract a butterfly to land near you! Enjoy these amazing pollinators while learning about what they do for farms and flowers! Throughout the duration of the Butterfly Encounter, we will host different species including Painted Ladies, Monarchs, Cabbage Whites and more. •  Bloom Fest 24 - Strawberry & Fig's 2nd annual Bloom Fest will take place once again at Central Park on Sun. April 14th, from 11-6. Free admission!
This fun-filled family event will once again be the BIGGEST Spring shopping event in Santa Clarita.
Over 200 local & talented Artisans and Crafters have been hard at work creating one-of-a-kind handmade items just for you. As if that's not enough, there will be trendy & affordable boutique clothing in the Strawberry & Fig Booth, permanent jewelry, face painting, pre-packaged food, and direct sales vendors. Plus, DJ Josh Kelly will be there along with many of your favorite food trucks.
This is the first of two Spring Events by Strawberry & Fig. The next will be on May 25th in the Bridgeport/Real Life Church Parking Lot.

Teams compete for trophies, titles and prizes awarded during lunch catered by Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Company. This is a great way to spend a Friday - at the range with good friends raising money for the kids at Carousel Ranch.

•  FREE Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Drive-Thru Collection Event - Safely dispose of your household hazardous waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste (E-waste) for FREE on Saturday, April 20 at the College of the Canyons (26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd). This event is open and free to all Los Angeles County residents. Business waste is not accepted at these events.

Some items that are eligible for disposal are paint, batteries, fluorescent light tubes, CFL bulbs, vehicle fluids, cleaners, solvents, pesticides and electronics. For a complete list of acceptable and unacceptable items, refer to LA County's HHW Guide.

•  Home & Garden Show Community Art Installation - Get ready to leave your mark - as in, your painted handprint - at the KHTS Home & Garden Show on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28. That's when ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING will be inviting the community to help them craft a massive community art installation in their booth to celebrate over $300,000 in local Paint-It-Forward donations and millions of dollars in national gives. To participate in the community art piece, visit ALLBRiGHT's booth at the KHTS Home & Garden Show. Shows are free to the public and feature over 400 vendors, including many local businesses featuring the latest in solar energy, pool & backyard design, kitchen remodeling & other home improvements.

•  Neighborhood Cleanup - Join your friends and neighbors for the City of Santa Clarita's Annual Neighborhood Cleanup event on Saturday, April 27, 2024. This event brings the community together to make a difference by registering to clean up litter in your own neighborhood. Volunteers can get more information and register at GreenSantaClarita.com/Events where they can choose from one of three locations to drive through between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, to pick up bags and gloves to help with their cleanup efforts.
