"Jonah started riding at Carousel Ranch after we noticed that he was not reaching his developmental milestones. He was getting therapy through other resources but we didn't see much improvement. When he started riding for the first time, I saw the difference it made in his little body. His lessons and his amazing instructor Becky have given him the help he very much needed. He is still working on other goals that had to be paused due to the pandemic, but now that he is back at Carousel Ranch we know we will get there. Thank you for helping my child in ways we couldn't."

Carousel Ranch's annual fundraiser - "Heart of the West" - is again offering the choice of in-person and virtual options so more people can join in on the fun! Held on the grounds of Carousel Ranch, it is sure to be a night of delicious food, comradery, live and silent auctions and plenty of moments to share in what matters most - the needs of Carousel kids.
At the Ranch, staff are always amazed by the sheer determination and perseverance that they see in their students each and every day. Over the past few years, they have been equally astounded by the strength and commitment of the Carousel Ranch community. With new students and new equestrian programming, as well as expanded classes and new opportunities for Ready to Work students, supporters look forward to the future with excitement.

The Carousel Ranch Story
Carousel Ranch is again poised to achieve great things this year as they further their mission as a place of horses, healing and hope, in great thanks to the support and generosity of our community. The Ranch is a local treasure dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with special needs. The equestrian therapy and vocational training programs' purpose is to create an atmosphere where every student can and will succeed - a place where therapy is disguised as fun.
From innovative programming during the pandemic to transitioning to the full return of in-person lessons, Carousel Ranch continues to serve the developmental therapeutic and recreational program needs for their vulnerable student population. Mission Valley Bank has stood beside Carousel Ranch nearly every step of the way since the bank's formation.
From assisting with the financing of their property to the launch of their newest program - Ready to Work vocational training program - the support and guidance provided has been instrumental in the nonprofit's growth.
