On Saturday, November 17, the merchants of Old Town Newhall welcome the community to their annual Sip N' Shop from 2pm to 6pm. Guests will nosh on light snacks and treats while taking advantage of deep pre-holiday discounts while meeting the small business owners who help keep Old Town Newhall a unique, vibrant destination.

Once the sun goes down, Main Street becomes a holiday wonderland with a tree-lighting ceremony. Performances start at approximately 6pm with a 23-foot-tall Christmas tree and overhead displays illuminating at 7:30pm, all in front of the Old Town Newhall Library on Lyons Avenue.

This City of Santa Clarita event is presented by local businesses like Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, Snow Orthodontics, RE/MAX of Santa Clarita and more. Free public parking for Light Up Main Street will be available in the new, city-owned parking structure on 9th Street and Railroad Avenue in Newhall, as well as at the Newhall Community Center and in several lots on and around Main Street.

Barn & Charm
This is the place to find antiques, vintage furniture, distinctive gifts and clothing, home decor and a lot more - but what we really love about B&C are their hands-on workshops and locally-made treasures. Stop in during Sip N' Shop to check out their new line of Off The Beaten Pallet touch lamps. These amazing handmade-in-the-SCV pieces feature unique metal objects and customized wood bases that turn off and on by touching the conductive object instead of using a switch. The locally-based brand also offers touch lamps that double as wireless cell-phone chargers. 255-5466
