Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co. is an SCV original - and in honor of their long-loved reputation in our community, they've just launched a Classics menu that has foodies town-wide talking. Here's what to try!

The Turkey Meatloaf topped with mushroom-cognac and served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus is comfort-food heaven. Toasted marble rye, topped with remoulade sauce, sauerkraut, melted white cheddar and homemade corned beef makes the Reuben Sandwich a real standout. Coddle your inner child with the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup combo - sourdough with a four-cheese blend of gouda, mozzarella, brie and fontina grilled with cajun butter and served with a luscious Tomato Basil Soup. Rob's Big Boy is a showstopper, with two grass-fed beef patties topped with monterey jack and white cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, green leaf lettuce, tomato and remoulade on a brioche bun. The Club Sandwich - a real classic - boasts three slices of toasted sourdough piled high with roasted turkey breast, Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, avocado, green leaf lettuce and roasted garlic aioli. Whatever you get, order truffle fries on the side. These beauties, tossed in truffle oil and truffle salt with fresh rosemary, parsley and parmesan cheese, are ultra satisfying.

New Slater's 50/50 in Valencia to Boast Self-serve Beer Taps, Bold Menu
Slater's 50/50, the full-service restaurant concept known for creating the 50/50 burger patty made with 50-percent ground bacon and 50-percent ground beef, has announced an upcoming location in Westfield Valencia Town Center that is slated to open doors this winter. The restaurant will be opened by local franchisee and experienced restaurant owner Homayoun Daryani, with a grand opening celebration planned for January.

A first for Slater's 50/50, the Valencia Town Center restaurant will feature a take-out window where mall guests can order burgers, espresso and coffee drinks and Slater's milkshakes to go. In addition to an indoor dining area for more than 100 guests, the location will feature two patios: a 1,600-square-foot outdoor Patio and an indoor mall patio of roughly 660 square feet. Both patios will have access to 50 self-serve beer taps on two walls while a full bar located inside the restaurant will boast up to 20 beers on tap, specialty bottled beers from around the world, cocktails and Slater's milkshakes. Private, bookable rooms will also be available for large party events.

Slater's 50/50 was founded in 2009 and built on a passion for all things burgers, bacon and beer. The restaurant quickly became famous for its original 50/50 patty, with the menu evolving to include an array of inconceivably "slaterized" items like award-winning burgers, loaded flatbreads, over-the-top salads, amped-up milkshakes and a wide array of beers.
