Salt Creek Grille's New Seasonal Menu is Rich with Surprises

Salt Creek Grille is that favorite, reliable friend who always delivers - but with their new winter menu, this trustworthy traditionalist surprises with fresh flavor profiles, textures and tastes that impress.

Of course, there are some important Salt Creek consistencies at play. Portions are still generous, the attention to detail is still paramount and each bite is a comforting delight. So too is the service - there are few other local restaurants that can match the attentiveness and menu fluency of Salt Creek service staff.

But there is a newness here in their winter menu that can't be ignored. The tropical taste and texture of coconut appears twice - once as a cheesecake crust and again on the savory-sweet coconut-shrimp appetizer. It's a welcome addition that brings a lightness to a menu primarily rooted in the rich sauces and flavors of winter.

Brand-new additions, like the Lobster Roll, cater to an evolving clientele who crave local favorites they first find over the hill. This roll, in true Salt Creek style, features a generous amount of big, meaty bites and an attractive price point - only $20.

Bar offerings have also expanded, including flavors like "forbidden apple" that, like Snow White's evil queen, makes a devine first impression but packs a real punch.

There's no way to go wrong, but plenty of ways to go right, with Salt Creek's new seasonal winter menu - available for a limited time.

What to Try Now
Lobster Roll
Big chunks of freshly-steamed lobster, celery, cherry tomatoes, arugula, avocado, lemon aioli on a pretzel bun make for a delectable lunch.

Herb Crusted Lamb Chops
A staff favorite, the generously-portioned chops are prepared with a whole-grain mustard demi-glace and served with rich au gratin potatoes and bacon-and-onion brussel sprouts.

Roasted Chicken Breast
Tender and flavorful, this savory find features skin-on chicken breast, shallots, cherry tomatoes, porcini mushroom sauce, au gratin potatoes and bacon-and-onion brussel sprouts.

Coconut Shrimp
A wowing presentation, these crispy coconut-crusted jumbo shrimp are served with a sweet-and-tangy apricot plum sauce.

Blackberry Lavender Cheesecake
Lavender is having a moment - and it's complemented deliciously here, paired with a toasted-coconut graham cracker crust, blackberry sauce and luscious cheesecake.

Baked Apple Crisp
Topped with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce,
this seasonal sweet is better than Grandma made.
