Bacon Lovers Rejoice with Slater's 50/50 News
Opening soon at Westfield Valencia Town Center, Slater's 50/50 was inspired by the belief that bacon is meat candy. Founder Scott Slater created a 50/50 patty - made of 50 percent ground bacon and 50 percent ground beef - which has now evolved to include an array of inconceivably "slaterized" selections like the Pork-A-Palooza - their signature bacon flight that includes salted caramel bacon kettle corn, bacon salt and vinegar chicharron, sweet and sour agave pork wings, Slater's giardiniere and crispy pork belly with jalapeno-bacon jam. The menu also boasts other carnivore-friendly finds like the Bison & Bacon, with American-raised bison, thick-cut bacon, Swiss cheese, jalapeno-bacon jam, lettuce, tomato and sage aioli on a honey-wheat bun and the Garden Gobbler: all-natural turkey in a crunchy lettuce wrap with pepper-jack cheese, avocado cilantro slaw, cucumber, pickled red onions, tomato and garlic aioli. Over-the-top milkshakes, flatbreads, salads and vegan Impossible Burger options round out the otherwise-meaty menu.

New Diner Classics at Wolf Creek
The winter seasonal specials at Wolf Creek are a fun spin on comfort classics, like Turkey Meatloaf, Reuben Sandwich, Club Sandwich, Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup, Truffle French Fries and our personal favorite: Rob's Big Boy, a double-decker burger with white cheddar and jack cheeses, caramelized onions, tomatoes, green leaf lettuce and remoulade on a brioche bun. Old faves like the original Wolf Creek Burger hit the spot, too.
