Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays & We All Celebrate Wine Wednesdays
Ever since the pandemic started, Wednesday has become our new Friday - and Slater's 50/50 has our back. The hotspot's all-day Wine Wednesdays feature a waived corkage fee when you bring in your own bottle as well as $5-a-glass house wines like cabernet, merlot and chardonnay.
If your "corkage" often features a sippy cup, take note of the Kids Eat Free Tuesdays during the summer. Now there is such a thing as a free lunch! Your kiddo can dine for free between 12pm and 3pm with your purchase of an entree. The offer is good for up to two kids 12 and younger per adult entree, dine-in only.

Cool Off with Fanned Patio Tables or Enjoy the A/C with your Meal
In the summer of 2019, average SCV summer-high temps hovered in the low 90s. The thought of dining anywhere but the cool confines of our fave restaurants was abhorrent. Fast forward to '21, where we're ready to host a (socially-distanced) parade in celebration that Wolf Creek's indoor dining has expanded the number of indoor tables, availability, reservations and walk-ins. Sure, you can still call for catering and pick up behind the restaurant (They deliver, too!) - but for the air-conditioning purists, it's gonna feel good to be back inside our preferred WCBC booth.

Summer Salads Worthy of Celebrity Status
If there was a Hollywood award for "Best Salad," these signature classic salads would make the short list of nominees, and the famous bottled San Pasqual dressing would certainly bring home the gold for "Best Supporting Salad Dressing" across all categories. Leading the nominations is the California Orange Salad with its perfect mix of greens, chicken breast, mandarin oranges, avocado, raisins, green onions, blue cheese crumbles, apples and candied pecans tossed with San Pasqual. Next is the Cordierra Salad with a generous portion of grilled sesame chicken breast on romaine with green and black olives, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese and candied pecans dressed with San Pasqual. Rounding out the category, the Pasadena Salad features chicken, spinach, avocado, bacon, green onions, and candied pecans. Classic salads are served with homemade cheese popovers and available in half or whole servings. Love the dressing? Be sure to take home a bottle!
