Let's Do Brunch
April, 2026 - Issue #249

Brunch is more than a meal - it's a celebration of good food, great company and life that's meant to be lived.

Wolf Creek's Sunday Brunch is SCV's Family Favorite
From 10:30am to 2pm, Wolf Creek's Sunday brunch is a family-friendly affair complete with kids' selections, mimosas and micheladas and a menu that packs a punch. Start with the Howlin' Chix Sliders with cajun hot-honey glazed chicken tenders served on house biscuts or the Chili Crunch Deviled Eggs that are filled with a siracha ranch yolk and then topped with garlic chili oil and furikake. For entrees, you can go savory with our favorite egg dish, the Barbacoa a la Poblana - two eggs served over crispy polenta, braised barbacoa, roasted poblanos, spicy hollandaise, queso fresco and pickled onions - or sweet. Our pick? It's a tie between The Citrus Creme French Toast with brioche French toast topped with citrus creme anglaise, orange segments, strawberries and whipped cream and the Brown Butter Pancakes that are infused with sweet cream and cinnamon, then served with maple brown butter and mixed berries.

Savor the Season with Breakfast at Marston's
As spring arrives in Santa Clarita and Easter approaches, mornings at Marston's Restaurant feel especially inviting. Chef Jim McCardy continues to elevate breakfast and lunch with a menu that blends comfort and creativity. The star of the table is the Fantastic French Toast. Four thick slices of sourdough are dipped in vanilla egg batter, rolled in crunchy corn flakes and grilled to golden perfection. Crisp on the outside and custardy inside, this signature dish is so popular it also appears on the dinner menu and has earned praise from Food Network Magazine. For a festive twist, "The Works" adds fresh berries, candied pecans and whipped cream. Guests will also find classic benedicts, hearty omelets, fluffy pancakes, Grandma's oatmeal and a granola-yogurt bowl topped with seasonal berries. Whether gathering for a weekend celebration or enjoying a relaxed weekday morning, Marston's pairs its crave-worthy menu with the warm, attentive service that has made it a local favorite. This spring, pull up a chair, pour another cup of coffee and start your day the Marston's way.
