Salt Creek Grille
The Cool Place to Go During the Hot Summer
May, 2015 - Issue #127
Unless you live under a rock, you already know that Salt Creek Grille is a top choice for great food, drinks and atmosphere all year round, but it's an especially smart decision during the heat of summer. Why? Two words: their patio. The expansive space is covered to keep you cool, boasts its own bar area and is the best place in town to enjoy summer breezes while sipping on an ice-cold cocktail.

The excitement heats up on Friday and Saturday nights with live music from a variety of exceptional regional bands in the bar.

Grab a drink and settle in to completely recharge your batteries without leaving the SCV.

Order from a variety of drink menus including The Skinny lower-cal cocktails like Red Carpet, a mix of Voli Raspberry Cocoa vodka, pomegranate and lemon juice, clocking in at only 120 calories; Grandpa's Medicine Cabinet classic cocktails like The Manhattan with premium rye whiskey, Carpano Antica Vermouth and orange bitters and French 77 made with champagne, St. Germain and fresh lemon; Signature Cocktails like Le Melon Epice with Grey Goose Melon vodka, St. Germain simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, grapefruit juice and fresh jalapeno; Martinis like Chell's Mandarin Crush with Absolut Mandarin, fresh OJ, grenadine and a sugared rim; Seasonal Craft Beers from the tap; or Wine by the glass, conveniently sorted into categories like Cutting Edge White and Exciting Reds.

Gather for Salt Creek's exquisite Sunday Champagne Brunch in the restaurant or on the patio. Return at 4pm for Sundown Sundays on Salt Creek's patio with live music, discounted drinks and eats from the Bites menu.

The stunning patio, decadent brunch and innovative bar menu aren't the only reasons to stay-cation at Salt Creek this summer. Here are a few more:

Salt Creek just launched their new dinner menu, featuring new favorites like the Pork Loin with chimichuri sauce. It's marinated, pan seared and served with seasonal veggies and roasted potatoes - and you're going to love it.

Something to celebrate? Want to try a luxury wine? Ask for Greg's List, named after SCG proprietor Greg Amsler. This higher-end wine list features special bottles not sold by the glass. The selections are constantly rotating but always special. Bottles currently range from $60 (Guarachi Chardonnay '09) to $195 (Joseph Phelps Insignia '11).

From small sides to large orders of entrees, Salt Creek's new to-go catering menu makes it easy to dine on the best without turning on the stove. Sharable portions available for delivery or pick up will make your next gathering a breeze. Choose from a lengthy - and delicious - list of platters, pastas, meats, salads, side dishes and so much more.

Every meal at Salt Creek is special, but you can make it even more so by hosting your private event at the convenient site. Make it easy on yourself and your budget by selecting a few of SCG's favorite meals that match your budget, then take advantage of either the private room (Seats 30.) or the patio (Seats 80 to 120.).
