Shredded BBQ Pork Sliders from The Local
Pull up a chair at The Local with one of your closest companions... your dog. The pooch-friendly patio is covered and cool, especially when you're sipping on their handcrafted Cucumber Smash cocktail. Give Fido a nibble of the shredded barbecue pork, served with garden slaw on a brioche bun Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm to take advantage of the end of their Summer Happy Hour, with selections ranging from a very affordable $4 to $6, including food and drinks.

The Cordierra Salad from Marston's Restaurant
This sophisticated mix is the ultimate in summer savories, combining a grilled sesame chicken breast on romaine with green and black olives, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese and candied pecans tossed with Marston's special handcrafted San Pasqual dressing. Dive in on their expansive, umbrella-dotte patio and drink in the rays while you drink in their substantial wine selection - or try another fan favorite, the Templeton Rye "The Good Stuff" Old Fashioned.

The Brewers Menu from Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co.
Wolf Creek's patio is sunshiny heaven, especially when you're noshing on new selections from this old favorite. We're craving the Southern Pickled Vegetable Tray, featuring an array of cauliflower, cucumber, green beans, peppers and assorted garden veggies, all house pickled with garlic and dill, and the Nashville Hot Chicken - a fried creation that's spicy, Southern and served with house-made macaroni salad and Southern mustard slaw. Each of the six new selections were inspired by the owners' trip to Nashville for a craft brewers conference.

Fresh-fruit Smoothies from Chyll Creamery & Boba Chyll's not-so-secret-anymore outdoor patio can be found through the back of the rolled-ice-cream hot spot in Valencia - and it's the perfect place to sip on a freshly-blended Chyll fruit smoothie. Known for distinctive flavors, Chyll doesn't disappoint with the "Chylli" - its fresh mango base is brightened with swirls of Chamoy, a salty Mexican sauce made from pickled fruit, and Tajin, a spicy lime-spiked delight. Open from 11am to 11pm, Chyll will let you do just that - even past Santa Clarita's bed time.
