Head to the who-dun-it, "A Murder is Announced," at The Master's University?
If you like attending live theatre in the Los Angeles area, look no further! The Master's University Theatre Arts produces clean, top-quality, entertaining plays and musicals filled with intriguing plot lines and captivating characters that you are sure to enjoy watching!

It isn't every day that a local newspaper foretells the time and place of a murder, especially in a sleepy village in the English countryside. Curious residents draw to the home of Miss Blacklock in anticipation, only to become entangled in the crime itself! Can a determined inspector and keen-minded Miss Marple unravel the mystery? Can they keep everyone safe and sort through the secrets hidden in plain sight? A classic Agatha Christie puzzle, "A Murder is Announced" is full of twists and turns, hidden identities, mixed motives and relentless pursuit of justice running Fridays and Saturdays, October 25 and 26, as well as November 1 and 2, at 3pm and 8pm at The Master's University Music Recital Hall.

Set sail with the SS LARC?
On Sunday, September 22, join friends and neighbors at Set Sail with the SS LARC, a fundraiser benefiting programs for developmentally-disabled adults. This seafaring-themed family-fun event is packed with live entertainment, delicious food, fun, games and dancing.

Grab service-industry pals and head to Rustic Burger's Service Industry Night on Sundays?
From 9pm to 2am on Sunday nights, food and beverage service employees - and their guests - are invited to Rustic Burger for exclusive specials like Angry Hour (Reverse Happy Hour!), featuring food and drinks only available on SIN. Play beer pong or participate in video-game tournies complete with prizes. Ages 18 and over only.

Attend a good ol' fashioned fish fry?
The American Legion Fish Fry on Saturday, September 28, runs from 5pm to 7pm - but it'll feel like its way farther back in time! For just $20 a person, you'll enjoy fresh-caught Alaskan halibut, french fries, cole slaw and dessert while listening to live music. Proceeds benefit the Sons of the American Legion - Post 507 Newhall.
