When it comes to "can't wait to dive in" deliciousness, Santa Clarita's locally-grown restaurants know how to impress. Here, two takes on the savory sensation of the season.

Kalbi Short Ribs Q & Q Hawaiian BBQ Style
Oh-so-tender, these authentic Hawaiian short ribs are prepared with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, fresh ginger... and Island magic. Enjoy them with the ultra-affordable Family Meal, which pairs their famous ribs with rice, macaroni salad and vegetables, as well as a selection of two other specialties. We're suckers for their Curry Chicken and Mahi Mahi, but their Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Chicken and Barbecue Beef also get rave reviews.

Kalbi Tacos Old Town Junction Style
The OTJ's Kalbi Tacos are leveled up, featuring hoisin braised short rib, candied cashews, sweet chili aioli, serrano, kimchi carrot slaw and cilantro. Pair yours with the Chili Your Melons - a bright, tart blend of Mi Campo Blanco tequila, watermelon Yuzu water, fresh lime, agave, serrano and Tajin.

Dressed to Impress
Nothing Bundt Cakes is famous for the thick frosting petals that adorn each of their cakes. Their signature frosting is made with velvety cream cheese and real butter. We can't get enough, but if you'd like a lighter touch, choose their drizzle frosting.
