The Most Welcome New Year Of All!
What a year to remember... or forget! As we put 2020 squarely in the rearview mirror, I'm excited to see what God has for us in 2021. We know His plan is far better than any we could devise, and I know this: "Tis grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home."
Worry and anxiety are not part of the Christian's mindset. We are not as self-sufficient as we thought. Now that God has our full attention, let's commit to doing things His way. Proverbs 3:5-6 (Found on the bottom of your In-N-Out shake cup!) reminds us, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He SHALL direct your paths." Have a blessed year!

The Great Reset
If the world's powerful elite get their way, a radical and complete transformation of everything we are and everything we do will occur.
They call it "The Great Reset." Think Green New Deal, Covid-19 restrictions, forced redistribution, nationalized healthcare and throw in something called the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Simply stated, you'll own nothing. Energy will be green, rationed and expensive. Travel will be restricted. Your diet will be controlled. Your currency will be digital. And you'll supposedly love it.
I reject big government, big tech and big university solutions. They don't know what's best for us. If you really want to reflect, reimagine and reset our world, put God back where He belongs in our personal and our national lives. Let's pray more, read the Bible more, honor parents more, and love our neighbors more. Let's make "In God We Trust" true again. That's "The Great Reset" I'm looking for in 2021. How about you?

"What ARE YOU DOING today to increase unity, togetherness and harmony into the world?"
The Lord is One
If anything captures the essence of Judaism it would be "Listen, Israel the Lord, our God, the Lord is One!" (Deuteronomy 6:4).
Notice the word "one" is capitalized, indicating its importance and connection to the Divine. The number "one" suggests unity, togetherness and harmony - and these are all ideals we strive for currently. The verse quoted above implies that we must actively listen and be aware where we as individuals and as a community can emulate our Creator by creating more unity and harmony in this world. What are you doing today to increase unity, togetherness and harmony into the world?
