Getting to Know the Biblical Counseling Programs at The Master's University
The Master's University believes and teaches that the Word of God is sufficient to meet the needs of individuals and that Scripture alone offers people true hope.
That's why their biblical counseling programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels train men and women to properly handle the all-sufficient resources that God provides, equipping them to bring biblical guidance and hope to sufferers through their local churches.
Biblical counseling begins with what Scripture teaches about human nature and works upward to apply that teaching to the specific problems that individuals face. Genuine biblical counseling looks to the Bible to understand who man is, the nature of his deepest problems, where these problems come from and how to resolve them. They know that God's Word is up to the task.
As Psalm 19:7 says: "The law of Yahweh is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple." (LSB)
It's important to note that biblical counseling is centered on Jesus Christ. It focuses on who Jesus is and what He has done in His life, death and resurrection, without which no one has hope of lasting change for good.

Legacy Christian Academy's New Creativity Lab Gives Students an Opportunity to "Grow in their Knowledge of Themselves"
Legacy Christian Academy has displayed an ongoing commitment to developing dedicated and exceptionally-well appointed learning spaces for the campus's Kinder-through-high-school students.
Most recently, the Valencia school completed construction on its Creativity Lab, a space reserved for the practice of the traditional arts.
"This is a space where my students can develop their creativity, technical skill and expression," explains Christine Harris, Legacy's Art instructor. In the Creativity Lab, Legacy learners discover how to generate ideas, consider what is needed, design a multitude of solutions, articulate their thoughts and bring them to evaluation and final refinement.
Through this process, students can, "grow in their knowledge of themselves," says Harris. "It's where they can find out what type of creative they are. Working with different mediums and different forms of art helps students see where their passion lies. It is my joy to see the gifts that God has placed in each of these children and to let them know where they shine."

Cadence Academy Preschool Prepares Children to Thrive
Sunshine Learning Centers are changing their name to Cadence Academy Preschool.
The schools have evolved with a research-based, hands-on approach to childcare and early education to make sure every child's future is full of unlimited possibilities and the rebranding reflects this growth.
While the schools' names are changing, you can expect the same professional early childhood teachers to continue providing exceptional education and loving care.
Most importantly, you can be assured that they will continue to work tirelessly to live up to their brand promise: "We provide parents with peace of mind by giving children an exceptional education every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home."
The new name does not reflect a change in ownership, as Sunshine Learning Centers has been a part of the Cadence Education family for some time and they remain completely committed to preparing children to thrive!
