Longtime Legacy Leaders Matt Millett & Stacie Zorichak Named to to New Head of School Positions
As Legacy Christian Academy continues to expand in square footage, enrollment - and, importantly, in cultural influence - the community's demands on the leadership team have grown, as well. That's why the Legacy Board of Directors has announced Stacie Zorichak as elementary head of school (K-5) and Matt Millett as middle and high school head of school (6-12).
The future of Legacy Christian Academy could not be in better hands. Head of School Stacie Zorichak, MEd, has served Legacy as the associate head of school - academics since 2017 and as a member of the administration for 12 years. She was instrumental as the WASC accreditation coordinator, resulting in the maximum length of accreditation for Legacy, and played a pivotal role in Legacy's awarding of the National Blue Ribbon of Excellence. She has proved to be an innovative, compassionate educator and trusted, inspirational leader.
Head of School Matt Millett has a master's degree in Educational Leadership and a multiple subject teaching credential. With over two decades in leadership at Legacy, Mr. Millett has skillfully navigated the campus community through pandemic shutdowns, building expansions and the launch of Legacy's middle and high school. For 22 years, Mr. Millett has been an essential contributor to the shaping of Legacy's culture. In this new role, Mr. Millett can now focus his efforts on ensuring that the growing middle school and high school programs will continue to meet Legacy's standards of excellence.

iLEAD Exploration's Free Independent Study Program Personalizes the Educational Experience
iLEAD Exploration is a free public charter school program where each family is partnered with a credentialed teacher - called a facilitator - who works together with families to create a customized, individualized learning plan that's rooted in grade-level standards and is inspired by the learner's passions.
The WASC-accredited independent study program offers personalized learning opportunities for TK through 12th graders who thrive with flexible options, field studies, service projects, and more.
Students are supported with learning offerings, complimentary educational subscriptions, webinars, community-building and enrichment activities. Instructional funds are used to support and enhance each learner's individualized learning plan, too. iLEAD Exploration values community and provides opportunities to foster friendships through park days and parent gatherings.
