The Master's University Celebrates Several Historic Milestones

This May, 341 traditional undergraduate students graduated from The Master's University, making 2025's graduating class the largest in school history.
Additionally, this year's graduating class included the first-ever cohort from TMU's Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling program. "I am reminded of God's tremendous gift of these precious students," says Dr. Mitch Hopewell, TMU's provost and chief academic officer. "In a time where many schools are facing declining enrollments, the Lord has entrusted TMU with an increase."
That same month, TMU's men's volleyball team defeated Saint Xavier University (Illinois) to win the NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Mustangs finished the season a perfect 27-0 in the process, becoming the first men's team in school history to win an NAIA national title.
TMU Women's Cross Country won the school's first team NAIA national title in November as part of what's become a remarkable year in athletics. During the 2024-25 school year, TMU has also won four individual national titles in indoor track and field and women's swimming.
"It's just everything we've been working for all year," said TMU Men's Volleyball Head Coach Jared Goldberg. "And it culminated exactly how we wanted with that match. The team really came together throughout the entire season."
