"About seven months ago I asked my dad if he would sign me up for acting school because I wanted to be like my dad and be in films and on television. We came over to the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts because my dad's friend, actor Terry Crews, and my best friend Isaiah Crews, told us this is the best place in all of Los Angeles County. My dad signed me up and I started training with the best teachers. My teachers are so much fun and they are actors, too! A few short months later, I signed with a top agent at Mavrick Agency and I just booked my first film with the lead role.

While all my other friends spend hours playing basketball and football, I am making money for my future and already living my dream to be Hollywood's top kid actor. Thanks Dad, for getting me into Santa Clarita school of Performing Arts and Mr. Mike - you rock!

I did it and so can you! Come to school with me - it's fun!," ~ Levi Gregory, age 9

(Side note from my dad: 'The staff at the school is very knowledgeable. SCSOPA staff will guide you and help with all aspects of the entertainment industry. This step is helping Levi achieve his dreams.').

Hart District Students Excel in the Classroom And on the Field
The Hart School District takes pride on being a high-performing school district in Los Angeles County, the state of California and in the nation.

Year after year, Hart District schools rank in national polls for academics and student achievement in publications like US News, Newsweek, The Daily Beast and Los Angeles-based publications and state reports.

In addition to academic achievement, the Hart District is known for its performing arts programs and athletics, both which are award winning and highly respected in the county, state and country.

Hart District comprehensive high schools including Hart High School, Canyon High School, Saugus High School, Valencia High School, West Ranch High School and Golden Valley High School have histories of achievement on the playing fields.

Families looking to provide a high-quality education along with an opportunity for competitive sports at the high-school level have found tremendous success in the Hart School District.

Athletes from throughout the district have earned college scholarships for academics and sports - and some have moved on to successful professional careers in football, baseball and to the global Olympics stage.

Parents looking for a well-rounded education, along with opportunities for sports or performing arts, are encouraged to contact their neighborhood Hart School District school to speak with an administrator, tour the facilities and learn more about all the great programs offered in the District. 259-0033, extension 227

Homeschool Help from a Trusted Source
SCV homeschooling parents are deeply invested in their children's academic, emotional and spiritual growth, participating hands on to ensure that their kid gets everything they need to thrive.

But sometimes it can be hard work - not to mention an energy drain on the primary parent educator.

That's why nearly 50 Santa Clarita students and their homeschooling families count on Legacy Christian Academy's Beacon Program, a carefully-crafted on-campus experience for homeschooled kids in grades kinder through sixth.

While Mom or Dad runs errands (Or just takes a well-deserved day off!), Beacon students are fully engaged in Science, Spanish, Writing, Mathematics and Drama courses, all taught by the award-winning Legacy Christian staff.

This once-a-week Friday experience includes opportunities to attend Chapel worship, visit the school library and enjoy a supervised lunch with friends. Beacon students can take full advantage of Legacy's Accelerated Reader and MIND Math programs and are also invited to major Legacy functions like the famous Thanksgiving Feast, Snow Day and VIP Day.

Students are divided into classes based on learning clusters capped at 20 students, ensuring plenty of personalized attention and wonderful socialization with their peers. Enrollment packets are available year round. 257-7377
