Kids can Learn the "Sport of a Lifetime"
Pee-Wee tennis classes for children as young as 3 years old are currently being offered at Santa Clarita's only full-service tennis club - The Paseo Club - conveniently located in the heart of Valencia. Learning to play the "sport of a lifetime" has never been so exciting! Children will learn all facets of the game, including proper grip, technique and scoring, all while playing organized games in a fun-filled and safe environment.

The public is invited to sign up for classes, with the first one offered for free when you mention Inside SCV. Pre-school champions (3 to 5 years old) classes will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm and Saturday from 11am to noon. Future Stars (5 to 8 year olds) classes are offered the same days from 4:15pm to 5:15pm and Saturday from noon to 1pm.

"My name is Michael Orozco, I am 7 years old and I have been a student at the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts (SCSOPA) since March 2012. I love and appreciate this school for giving me the opportunity to follow my dreams of being in commercials and movies; I especially loved being in the movie 'Scout' with Danny Glover and in the movie 'The Sound of Magic' with director Cristopher Broe. I have done several commercials like 'Find the Children' and have been featured in commercials for The John Wayne Cancer Foundation, Sunshine Ambassadors Church TV and a national Wal-Mart campaign. I was also in a print campaign called 'The Faces of Los Angeles' and a very special project called 'Starting Something - Jenny and the Mexicats.' My teacher Mr. Matt has always believed in me and helped get me my start. Thank you to The Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts for helping me live my dream,"
