Make a Plan Now to "Use Up" your 2025 Dental Benefits
"If I had a dollar for every time a patient called in December wanting to 'use up' their dental benefits, I'd buy a beach house," jokes Becky Short, office manager for Dr. Tong, DDS. "The truth is, most dental offices are booked solid the last month of the year."
"It's very common for patients to call in December, hoping to get in before the end of the month. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to schedule them in even for a check up, let alone a treatment that might require follow up appointments," says the longtime dental pro. "That's why we encourage our patients to get on the schedule now, so that there's ample time to find an appointment that works with their calendar and allows room for any additional follow up appointments that they'll want to make to 'use up' their annual dental insurance benefits."
If you've delayed dental check ups and follow ups in 2025, now is the time to call your favorite dentist - because the last quarter of the year is a busy one. After all - who wants to try and fit a dental appointment into the already-wild time between Thanksgiving and New Year's!?

"Ciara's experience at SCSOPA is nothing short of amazing! SCSOPA offers acting, singing, voiceover and modeling - but it ended up being so much more than that! She diligently attends each week because she loves the classes and instructors! Ciara is learning so much and comfortably recites her scenes on camera. She also enjoys the friendships she has formed there and considers SCSOPA her second family! Because of the wonderful teachers and their passion for their work, Ciara's confidence has soared. After signing with an agency, she has had multiple auditions and will be appearing in an upcoming Tydus music video scheduled to be released later this summer. She also recently wrapped up filming for Dhar Mann studios in a supporting role in a video released in early July 2025, 'Poor Girl Shamed in Public School.' She also worked with other popular content creators such as Matt & Justus. She knows that these opportunities are only the beginning of her journey towards realizing her dream of getting a role in a musical or television series. As for now, Ciara is enjoying the daily training and comradery at SCSOPA, a place enabling dreams to become reality."

Local Boys & Girls Clubs Needs your School Supply Donations
The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita is a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn and thrive. It serves as a place where young minds are enriched through educational programs and activities, fostering a love for learning and personal development. Moreover, it is a center of fun and excitement, offering a variety of recreational opportunities that encourage creativity and social interaction. The club also serves as a vital resource for students, providing a place where they can stay connected with their peers and the community, while receiving the support and guidance needed to navigate the challenges of childhood and adolescence.
A supply drive is happening now through September, with donation boxes available at their Ventress and Dierckman clubhouses. They are seeking items like backpacks, notebooks, binders and other essentials to help kids start the school year prepared. Donations also support their after-school academic success programs.
The event aims to ensure that all club members have the resources they need to succeed academically and feel confident as they begin the school year. Donations also support the Club's ongoing academic programs, which help youth graduate on time and prepare for future success. Now with 10 locations, the club provides after school and summer programs for youth in and around Santa Clarita Valley.
Through your generosity, the Boys & Girls Club continues to build a brighter future for the children of the Santa Clarita Valley. We hope you can join us and help support after-school programs for local youth. All proceeds from this event go directly to programs that create an impact in the community by inspiring and enabling the next generation of leaders.
