Carousel Wishes & Valentine Kisses
Make Carousel Ranch your Valentine
February, 2026 - Issue #247

Eat out every Thursday in February... for the kids!
Support local businesses that are sharing "Carousel Kisses & Valentine Wishes" for Carousel Ranch. Serving over 100 students each week, the Ranch provides on-horseback therapy for children with special needs and vocational training for adults with special needs. During the month of February, their annual campaign raises essential operating funds, in part, from community events like the ones mentioned here. Each restaurant will donate a generous portion of your bill when you mention Carousel Ranch.

"Carousel Ranch has been the biggest blessing for my daughter Kenzie, who has cerebral palsy and other impairments. Equestrian therapy has allowed her to experience something new and gain confidence, while having the love, guidance and support from the amazing staff. We are so impressed every session with our daughter's courage to try new skills. She always leaves so incredibly happy! Seeing her stand on a horse with the encouragement and support of the staff has boosted her self-esteem. The smile on her face when she attempts skills during her equestrian therapy sessions is absolutely amazing. The staff is clearly very passionate about what they do and are so wonderful. We will FOREVER BE GRATEFUL for the opportunities that Carousel Ranch provides."

The Power of Giving Where You Live
Mission Valley Bank's Enduring Commitment to Community
For more than two decades, Mission Valley Bank has partnered with Give Where You Live as a reflection of who the Bank is and what it stands for. The partnership is the basis of Mission Valley Bank's community development philosophy: that lasting impact begins at the local level, where relationships build growth and generosity builds trust.
"At Mission Valley Bank, community involvement is a living part of who we are," said Tamara Gurney, president and CEO. "Our success has always been tied to the people, businesses and nonprofits that surround us. Give Where You Live reminds us that banking, at its best, is about service with purpose."
At its core, Give Where You Live represents the belief that financial strength and community well-being are inseparable. The Bank's approach to community investment is grounded in sustainability and measured by long-term partnerships that help essential organizations succeed. The program connects Mission Valley Bank's culture of purpose with its business philosophy: the idea that every financial transaction should strengthen the community that made it possible.
Through Give Where You Live, Mission Valley Bank has proudly supported nonprofits that anchor the Santa Clarita Valley, like Carousel Ranch; Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley; Santa Clarita Valley Family YMCA; Samuel Dixon Foundation; Child & Family Center; and Hope the Mission. Each of these partners represents a facet of community life - education, wellness, recovery, dignity - and together, they reflect what Mission Valley Bank defines as meaningful impact.
"Sustainable community growth happens when partnership becomes participation," said Justin Stewart, SVP of Community Banking. "When we lend our experience, our networks and our time, we help local organizations expand their reach and resilience. That shared investment builds more than programs - it builds legacy."
The Bank's employees volunteer their time, share their expertise and invest locally because they understand that community strength is cumulative. When local businesses prosper, they hire locally. When families are supported, they spend locally. When nonprofits have reliable partners, they extend their reach. This cycle is the essence of sustainable community development - and it has shaped Mission Valley Bank's culture from the beginning. After 20 years, Give Where You Live is proof that a bank can measure success by the strength of the community that stands behind it. Mission Valley Bank continues to lead with the same conviction that started it all: when you give where you live, everyone moves forward together.
