"You can see how the heart of the home came together with a thoughtful mix of classic and contemporary elements," says Diaz. The island features custom natural wood cabinetry with a soft, warm stain that adds a grounding element to the otherwise light and airy palette. The perimeter cabinets are painted in a crisp white with modern black hardware, offering a clean contrast.

"At Stunningly Staged Homes, we understand that today's families need a kitchen that is equal parts stylish, functional and family-friendly," says owner Melissa Diaz.


For busy parents, the island serves multiple purposes: a prep station, homework zone, snack spot and gathering place. "We also included a soap dispenser duo and a small potted herb for a touch of utility and charm," says the designer.

"This remodel was designed with a vibrant young family in mind - complete with kids, pets and a busy lifestyle. We carefully selected materials and finishes that offer durability without sacrificing beauty - and every design choice was made to create a warm, welcoming hub for everyday living," explains the designer.
