Settle into High-quality Outdoor Lounge Furniture
The best resort managers know that to get guests outside, it needs to be at least as comfortable as inside. Use the same theory for your own "vacation at home" location. Opt for outdoor pieces that have the look and feel of quality indoor options, like deep-seated cushions, soft durable fabrics and enough room to spread out and get comfortable. Don't forget the accessories; in the SCV, umbrellas are a must to keep the hot rays at bay. At Oasis Garden & Patio, all in-stock patio sets are on sale now.

Spring Forward with SCV Water's March Gardening Classes
March is all about spring! We "spring" forward with daylight savings time March 10 and the first day of spring is March 20. March is also a great month to start thinking about preparing your landscape so it will blossom. Let SCV Water help you get started with their free March class offerings.

Not sure what plants to use in your landscape? They've taken out the guesswork by identifying the top-30 plants that look beautiful and grow well in the SCV. Join them Thursday, March 7 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for "Top 30 Plants for the SCV." They'll make a great addition to your landscape! Participants will leave with a full-color plant guide and - hopefully - a few new favorite plants.

Ready to reimagine your landscape? Start with a plan! Join them Saturday, March 9 from 9am to 12pm for their new class "Planning Your Landscape Project: Design to Construction." Participants will learn the components needed to develop a project scope and create their own landscape design and budget.

All classes are held at SCV Water, located at 27234 Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita. Log on to register and to see a complete list of classes for 2019. yourscvwater.com

Resort Style Accommodations in your own Backyard
Pick the Perfect Pool
Single Depth
Smooth, sleek and ideal for lap swimming and water sports like volleyball, the single-depth pool is modern and minimalistic, with luxurious lines that are now frequently found in the hottest branded resorts.

Swim Up Bars
Part countertop, part pool ledge, there are few things more classically "resort" than the swim-up bar. Partner yours with a lower-level outdoor kitchen and in-pool seating.

Sun Shelves
Shallow wide ledges rarely more than a foot deep allow for semi-immersed sunbathing, water play for small children and a cool place to entertain when temps soar.
