Last year, Inside SCV Magazine, along with over a dozen home makeover professionals, transformed one reader's bedroom into an organized, well-appointed escape.

This year, we're ready to do it again, and we've already signed on 16 of the SCV's best home-related businesses to help us make one room in your house extraordinary.

Think for a moment: What room in your house could benefit from hardwood flooring, new paint, custom design, shutters, doors, fabric accessories, a ceiling fan, plasma television lift, windows, wood finishing, furnishings, home accessories and more?

If you have a room in your home that needs sprucing up or requires total revamp, this is your chance to win a brand new space for free!

Here's what you need to do. First, take out that digital camera and take several well-lighted and crisp photos of your room from different angles. Then, sit down and compose a brief description of your room and explain why you think you should be selected for Inside SCV Magazine's Home Room Makeover. Remember, we'll receive a great deal of entries, so make sure your photos are of high quality. Entries without photos will not be considered.

E-mail your submission to makeover@insidescv.com no later than 5 p.m. on August 1, 2006. Postal submissions must also be received no later than 5 p.m. on August 1. Mail hardcopies of your photographs (we're sorry, but pictures will not be returned) and your entry to the following address: 16164 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita, CA 91390.

Regardless of your means of entry, don't forget to include your address, name and contact phone number.

The winner of Inside SCV Magazine's Home Room Makeover will be contacted no later than August 15, 2006.

Entrants must be willing to have their selected room completely altered by the Home Makeover contractors and participants.
