Add Functionality to your Pool
Before 2020, many of us had never spent so much time at home. Now that our houses are often doubling as recreational and exercise centers, pool designers are getting creative. On the docket for 2021 pools are lazy rivers, Baja ledges with loungers and umbrella sleeves, lounging walls, fitness options, swim-up bars and other resort-feel additions that make "home" the best place to be. Already have a pool? Invest in your home by renewing or remodeling your pool coping, tile or replastering your pool with a beautiful mini-pebble finish. Upgrade your lights to color LED, add a water feature or upgrade your equipment for energy efficiency or WIFI control.

Up Design & Lower Maintenance with New Wood-look Tiles
In 2021, the world is lightening up - and so are design options for flooring that have all the variance, dimension and versatility of wood... in tile form. From rustic whites that appear distressed to sundrenched light shades that epitomize coastal couture, these easy-to-maintain floors will be in high demand this year.

Celebrate 2021 with Pantone's Colors of the Year
Leave it to Pantone to set the tone for 2021 by declaring not one but two colors as the "Color of the Year."

We're hoping that 2021 is extra in all the right ways and we're here for the design trend setter's declaration that these shades are: "A marriage of color conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting."

So, how do we incorporate the Pantone Ultimate Gray and Pantone Illuminating union that is, "practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic?" Let's find out!

Meet the Colors of the Year
According to Pantone, this color pairing is a way for people to, "fortify themselves with energy, clarity and hope to overcome the continuing uncertainty," with "spirited and emboldening shades" that satisfy our human quest for vitality. We're sold!

Pantone 13-0647 Illuminating is, "a bright and cheerful yellow sparkling with vivacity, a warming yellow shade imbued with solar power."

Pantone 17-5104 Ultimate Gray is, "emblematic of solid and dependable elements which are everlasting and provide a firm foundation. The colors of pebbles on the beach and natural elements whose weathered appearance highlights an ability to stand the test of time, Ultimate Gray quietly assures, encouraging feelings of composure, steadiness and resilience."
