Don't be afraid to use a combination of light and dark wood tones. As long as the woods complement each other, they will pair perfectly together!
Remember that less is more.
Don't overcrowd your walls with art and pictures. Pick one wall as your bad-ass gallery wall and leave the rest of the walls clean and clear.
Add some greenery. Choose a tree or a couple of potted smaller plants. Greenery is a great way to add a color without actually adding a color. It also brings in lots of textures that help a space feel more "homey."

SCV Water hosts one virtual class per month on a Saturday starting at 9am. Their instructors supply the same great content but in more condensed format. Classes focus on the topic for 45 minutes to one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session at the end. All presentations are recorded and available for viewing on their website one week after the live class. Participants will also be able to download the presentation.
